Terms of Service

Key points: You are responsible for using retrieved contact data in compliance with applicable laws. Tokens are non-refundable once used. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. Please read in full before using the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LeadLood ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LeadLood Inc. ("LeadLood," "we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Service
LeadLood provides a web-based lead generation platform that enables users to search for business contact information using the Google Places API, apply filters, view results, and export data in various formats. The Service operates on a token-based credit system.
3. Account Registration
To use LeadLood, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password confidential and not share it with third parties
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
4. Token System & Payments
LeadLood uses a token-based credit system:
- Tokens are purchased through the Wallet section of your dashboard
- Each exported contact costs 10 token; paginated result fetching costs an additional 5 tokens per page depending on use case after the first
- Tokens do not expire and are non-transferable between accounts
- All payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider
- Prices are in USD or may we can prefer you location based currency and it may be subject to applicable taxes
We reserve the right to change token pricing with 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification or updates on web app.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
- Send unsolicited bulk communications (spam) in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, or other applicable laws
- Collect contact information for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or other security measures
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
- Use automated scripts to excessively query the Service beyond normal usage patterns
LeadLood reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
6. Data Usage & Compliance
The contact data retrieved through LeadLood comes from the Google Places API and represents publicly listed business information. You are solely responsible for:
- Complying with all applicable laws when using retrieved contact data
- Obtaining required consents before sending marketing communications
- Ensuring your outreach activities comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable regulations
LeadLood is a data access tool, not a data controller for the contacts you retrieve. The responsibility for lawful use rests with you.
7. Intellectual Property
All software, design, text, graphics, and other content on the LeadLood platform are the property of LeadLood Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of any data you export from the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEADLOOD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LEADLOOD IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE DATA PROVIDED WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT. GOOGLE PLACES DATA IS PROVIDED BY A THIRD PARTY AND MAY CONTAIN ERRORS OR OMISSIONS.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account through the dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused tokens are subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California. If you are located in the EU, applicable EU consumer protection laws also apply.
12. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
